Carolyn Rubin started C.M.R. Consulting, and as its owner, she wants to help other people reach their goals, dreams, and inspirations by fostering their value. Through DISC assessments, mentoring, and training, they help people learn how to be leaders, work as a team, and communicate. Their goal is to work together with leaders in health care and clinical teams to make sure that patients have access to care.

To help people understand their communication styles and how to interact with those who have different styles, Carolyn prefers to begin each session with a DISC assessment. Leaders of the future are trained and taught what servant leadership is through both group and individual lessons. They discuss leadership styles, growth and empowerment, communication, and inclusiveness. In order to help leaders understand the challenges they face, Carolyn mentors them in communication and interpersonal skills, provides them with the resources they need to succeed, and understands the issues they are facing and how to solve them. She teaches them the skills they need to talk to patients, their families, and coworkers in a good way and gives them someone to talk to when life or work get hard. She thinks that a healthy practice has an environment of trust, servant leadership, and communication, so that patients can get care while the team is taken care of.

For more than 32 years, Carolyn has worked as a pharmacy technician, a medical assistant, a revenue cycle expert, a coding educator, a medical assistant instructor, and an operations specialist. Through this connection and understanding, she contributes to the development of future leaders and the growth of current leaders. She is a speaker, mentor, trainer, and coach who is capable of working in any industry, including healthcare. She provides on-site and virtual training sessions and masterminds on communication, leadership, and success tools.

Carolyn is creating a place where people can feel comfortable and get the training and direction they need to follow their dreams and be successful. . According to her, the best way to inspire a team is to provide them with information about themselves and how they best communicate and collaborate with others.
