Consider the customer and evaluate their needs

Wimage LLC, founded by the CEO, Michael Hyacinthe in 2016, is a U.S. Navy Seabee. He is a black veteran and an entrepreneur. Wimage, a minority-owned children's media company, promotes early development. Through storytelling, the company helps kids realize the power of their imaginations. They also design varied characters to teach children kindness and inclusiveness. Wimage gives parents, educators, and leaders a good alternative to negative content on major platforms.

Michael Hyacinthe is a creative visionary who collaborates to launch ideas and ventures. In today's economy, a successful business demands a diverse workforce. Michael, a military veteran, knows that ideas, direction, and accountability originate with a leader. A good leader must include others and inspire them to get involved. Everyone contributes to the company's success since they all meet goals and objectives, he adds. The leader understands the business's essential features, but he may not be the most qualified in every area, so he is constantly inspiring input from his team members. Extra leadership is needed in all business domains. Everyone on the team must understand and acknowledge that the leader and owner has more at stake, especially with investors and partners, and this adds to total performance eventually.

With this, Michael also advises potential entrepreneurs to be passionate but not blinded by their dreams, know when to seek help and where to find it, know when to pivot, and move past "No's" since there is always another opportunity. Find the greatest partners or investors. An introduction or conversation can trigger ideas, and lastly, entrepreneurs must follow their intuitions.

Michael's business developed with Wimee, the puppet. It is meant to inspire kids to be storytellers. According to him, a child's window-gazing imagination might reveal new possibilities. Their programming helps kids construct their own stories through creative play. We continue to collaborate with our clients and customers to help us meet their needs.

Michael and team created Wimee’s Words during the pandemic to engage kids with fun and instructive content. It uses apps, books, and digital content to teach children. Later, the children's media startup collaborated with schools, libraries, and PBS stations. Wimee's Words reaches millions of viewers through PBS and children's channels like Kidoodle TV and Hellosarus. It also helped improve brand visibility through partnerships with Zonderkidz/Harper Collins, Aurora, and Design Design. Wimee makes educational content for its clients and connects with kids through licensing and TV distribution.

Recently, the Grand Rapids Children's Museum opened a Wimee exhibit. Kids may create stories with Wimee using puppetry, technology, and hands-on play. Michael wants to take Wimee on a national and international tour. They constantly develop innovative real-time feedback systems, and their technology includes kids' imaginations and suggestions. This participatory concept engages kids at theatres and concerts. Michael thinks their technology can immediately engage attendees.

Covid's growing audience demanded fresh content. Clients like the engaging and instructional content. While producing intellectual property that competes with Cocomelon, Peppa Pig, and other children's media properties, they also look for methods to engage children with bespoke content. They cooperate with schools, early childhood nonprofits, and children's entertainment companies to enable parents to influence the information their kids consume. Early learners will be motivated to be producers, not just consumers, Michael adds.

Michael's nonprofit "Has Heart" inspired Wimage and Wimee. "Has Heart" pairs veterans with designers to convey their experiences through art for their Fifty States tour and the Hero Series. Following the success of these activities, their team developed Voices, an annual public art exhibition for veterans. Through these programs, Michael saw how art helped veterans deal with PTSD and mental health. This revelation made him realize that strengthening kids through art, creativity, and storytelling can help them to envision a better future by overcoming obstacles. This can be especially true with kids from less affluent households. When we allow kids to imagine and dream, we help them to develop resilience. Wimage, Wimee the Robot, and "Has Heart" continue to inspire people around the world. For this, he thanks his creative collaborators and friends: Tyler Way, Kevin and Stephanie Kammeraad, Pamela Alderman, Nic Jansma and Jim Dague. To share their success, they want others to join.

Over time, Michael understood the importance of their interactive projects, but he also wanted to be unique by letting kids help create the content and stories. He believes it is important to listen to kids and give them a voice through interactive technology. Through Wimee, Michael wants to help strengthen families and inspire communities.

Michael invites everyone into the creative process: "If you feel this story is worth telling, please join us @wimeetherobot and www.wimee.tv.”
